I only had the tailgate down, the cover was latched down and the wind ripped it right off anyways. believe me I would have held it down otherwise!

 

Welcome....You guys are getting pounded pretty good today. 60mph winds are near hurricane force,and beyond what the maker of your cover warranty for, but definitely call your insurance company if your claim is greater than you deductible. Heck, I'd email the cover maker anyway and see what hey have to say.

damn, that sux. its windy as a bish here today too. If it was just the cover that got damaged I would say it was a cheap lesson but since you got body damage too Im gonna say give the insurance a call.
