No, my parents pay for everything that goes on the truck too... HAHA just kidding. Yeah I do have a job, making ice cream to be exact. I love it, I get to do random 'quality control testing'!

I promised myself I wouldn't get any decals for my truck, but honestly I might have to make an exception for this one - it's pretty sweet!

Yeah, my dad doesn't agree with me spending so much on my truck...but almost $3,000 later...IDCCCCCCC. It's what I love to do! I'll never stop! I'm addicted to modding my truck...IDK what's next...but who knows...it'll never stop!

Haha I know how that goes! I'm not a fan of covering my truck in decals..but I did see the 355Nation decals that go on the front windshield..and I really want one. But I'd definitely get that sticker "caution this vehicle may transform" one because it fits your truck so perfect. You could just put it on the bottom back corner of the window...that'd look sick!

How much would you say you've put onto your truck in mods? The black stripes...rims/tires...then the side skirts & valances...that must really add up, trust me I know all about blowing money Lol:td:

I always thought decals looked kinda ricey, or it would be found on a race car. I guess it really depends on the decal though, I haven't seen any Colorado that looked ricey with decals.

Oh god, my mom is the same way. She would ALWAYS say crap like "Now why are you doing that to a new truck, that's in perfect condition? To me that's a total waste of money." But now that I have everything done, that shut her up, and she loves it! Modding is very addicting, my very first mod was my stereo, and I obviously haven't stopped there.

Yeah I want something to go across my front window too. I was thinking about a ColoradoFans one or a 355Nation one. Both of these sites have been very helpful, and I want to help these sites like they helped me.

I added it up one day for kicks and insurance purposes and it came up to $9500. I about crapped my pants when I saw this number.. I had no idea I spent THAT much

Ahh yeah, that's my favorite line Haha I've heard that one million times! "Now why are you doing that to a new truck, that's in perfect condition? To me that's a total waste of money." My dad is just old fashioned. He'll tell me to save my money and not to blow it on my truck and to just drive it the way it is. I don't listen I never will. :] I love modding my truck...I can't help it! I want my truck to look sweet and to be something that I LOVE, not to just stay stock...so its sweet being able to do this!

Its cool because I don't know ANYONE around here that's my age that has done up a nice new truck...like yeah I'm used to people doing up older cars and stuff...but people rarely put money into brand new trucks like I do. I wish I could see Colorado's done up around here..it'd be sweet! I think it's cool though to be 19 and doing all of this...its fun to be young!

But yeah, my first mod was my stereo & system too...then from there I went CRAZYYY!!

To me it looks wierd stock, don't get me wrong though, these are great looking trucks to begin with. Especially the Extremes, I've always been a huge fan of the Extremes.

I know what you mean when you say that you'd like to see some cool looking Colorado's. No one around here has a cool looking Colorado except for CodeRed. I passed him once when I was driving. But back then I had no idea who he was, and I didn't have anything done to mine. We just drove by each other and I thought: "Wow.. that's a pretty sweet looking truck!"

Yeah I went all out on my system! Since then though, I've always been finding things to do, it's my never-ending project.

Yeah it does pay off to work with ice cream. And everything does add up, and I'm not talking about the mods to my truck haha

Well before I got the truck I was thinking of getting a 2005 Mustang, but I'm really glad I didn't go that route. This Colorado is much better than that Mustang could have ever been. I enjoy having the money to do things to this, with the Mustang I would've had a car payment. And like I was telling my parents, how many souped up cars do you see vs. how many souped up trucks? It definitely draws attention to itself, and yes, everyone is pretty shocked when I tell them that it's mine. And they're even more shocked after I tell them that I payed for it all!

When I first got my truck, I honestly didn't even know I'd ever be doing all of this to it. I just picked out a nice little truck that was said to get good gas mileage...4cyl and all Haha I got it right off the lot...so I didn't pick what I wanted on it..but that didn't matter because after I started seeing nice Colorado's online & I got involved in the sites...wow I went crazy Haha I saw a Colorado with a spoiler & it pretty much started there! I was obsessed with it:]

Yeah CodeRed has a really nice truck. I wish there were a lot of done up Colorado's around here. There's a guy on here "Burnt Copperado" he lives near me and I saw him the other day driving..it was really cool to see someone that had a really nice truck that I talked to online. I wish I could see people like that all the time from here! But noooo I'm in MI haha it sucks over here!

I got lucky when they installed my system over here...I was only going to get subs & an amp because my boyfriend bought them for me as a gift...and well they ended up blowing my stock stereo so now I get everything "at cost" there so I can hook up all of my friends Haha I got an alarm system there with a tilt sensor(if anyone moves my truck even 3 degrees my alarm will go off) mainly because I don't want people to mess with my rims. But even then I have locking lug nuts...so yeah, its not even worth to try:] People are stupid and like to mess with nice things so I figured it was definitely worth the investment to get! I haven't had any problems though!

Its definitely better that you picked the Colorado over the Mustang. Mustangs are wayyyyy too common. I see them everywhere. Now how many Colorado's do you even see...especially ones that are done up?:] Its sweet to have a truck that not many people do up around here...it really stands out! I love that!

When I got mine, I already knew what I was going to do with it. I knew that I was going to put on black stripes though for sure! It was funny because I was uploading pictures of it last night, on the day that I got it, and WOW quite a transition...

I think it would be cool seeing more 355s out here that are all decked out. But like I said, CodeRed is the only one that I know of. I can only imagine south or north California..

As for my stereo system, my dad and I installed that ourselves. We saved HUGE in installation fees. And since we did it ourselves, we got to configure everything how we wanted. We amped everything, mounted everything, and hid wires how we wanted.

Mustangs are way too common now, but they weren't at the time I wanted one. Plus it's a Ford so I'm glad I didn't go that route, especially with my grandpa working for GM.

Well they didn't exactly buy the whole thing for me. They more or less bought it out of pitty and now that they've come out of that (and added two extra car payments), understandably they want me to start paying for it which I have no problems with. My dad actually sold his motorcycle to pay mine off, he hates having car payments. It makes him a 'slave to the bank'.

My dad actually had no objections to anything, he was the one that kept encouraging me to do things. It was pretty much my mom that had any issues. My dad though, pretty much helped me install everything, so it just as much his truck as it is mine. He gets all googley eyed and excited when I let him drive it.. Haha you would think he was sixteen all over again.

Your truck would look sick bagged! I understand why you might not want to do it though. My dad told me to lower mine, and at the time I really didn't want to do it. But I decided to do it anyway, and I'm glad I did.. it looks much better now. But I think it could go lower now haha...
