09V81LT: i say pull a leaf out and top mount a leaf helper along with a 2 or 3" block. that would drop you 4 or 5" in the back and still have enough strength.

my rear setup: STOCK z85 leafs no leaves pulled (think same as z71), a 3" block w/2* shims, top mounted leaf helper, and air shocks. i can get a 5" drop or only a 3" drop these air shocks are badass and cheap. with 20psi im at about a 4-4.5" rear drop and the back rides fine.

front setup is another story atm

OK so we got the frontier shocks installed! what a whore but you can get them in their. gotta go file down or reverse the bottom shock bolts now cuz theyre rubbing my cv shafts! sob! what an annoying ride home! haha bumpstop cups are also out.

front is sitting at just shy of 31" and back at 31.75" i think im all done for now i like how she rides and sits. a tad of rake just seems to look good imo  and having a few more psi in the rear air shocks softens the blow on potholes a ton lol

2 of the 4 front differential bolts have come loose and i cant tighten them with a 1/2" impact gun. gotta bug my other friend for either his 3/4" impact gun or the 4ft breaker bar hes got. im too concerned to drive it a ton so rippin the moms camry tomorrow ha

ok since the pics my trucks been riding at 30" (1.5" lower than the pics. it was just too damn low i was rubbing wheel well and bottoming out once in awhile. i've cranked it back to 31.5" to the fenders and its sitting even like that. i like it better without the rake anyways....i think haha i'm very indecisive if nobody already guessed

the ride quality has improved dramatically where it sits now though so im much happier with it. doesnt look quite as cool but i'll get over it. once this damn rain stops (been going for days and not stopping til mid next week) i'll get a good detail and photoshoot going.

but then we can do 4wd doughnuts LOL

that kit doesnt sound like a bad deal but with a 4" rear block your gonna want 3-4" crank up front, and with stock shocks...WILL bottom out the shocks on rough potholes and such. the frontier shocks are a bitch to install but totally worth it for the ride quality. which still is bad but its a truck haha

well being that the back lower shock mount and leaf pack dont move in relation to the chassis on a block drop the rears will be fine. however by lowering the front youll need shorted shocks.

lkout4trucks: i'd be interested do find out if drop spindles would work maybe a 2 in drop spindle???? i'd have to see both side by side. i dont know how different the 4x4 ones are

yeah i have always wondered that for the 2wd torsion bar guys. would be a much nicer drop and holy shit could you get low with a combo of those and a drop key. if only they had them with a spot for a cv-shaft. i'd have gotten those in a heartbeat.

Ok now that you've had the drop for a little bit I was wondering if you've noticed any bad tire wear from the camber being off? Or is your camber not that bad?

just had to get it aligned like normal. toe was WAY off after the drop but is actually perfect now that i've gotten it aligned. any good alignment shop shouldnt have any issues getting you rolling proper
