What's up guys... I'm sure this has been posted before but if you don't mind recommending a lift kit for my 06 canyon crew cab. 2wd I've got a $800 budget. I would like to lift the truck 3 or 4 inches. Thanks

According to your profile you have a 2wd Z71 so the 3 inch eBay or Fabtech lift spindles will not work. You may be able to get 3 inches out of the front by cranking your torsion bars or buying new lift keys.

Z71's Don't have coils in the front so you cannot use coil spacers.

Or you can get a skyjacker or Rancho 4" Suspension lift But they are more than 800 dollars

i have a 2wd z71 with 3" lift spindles, there is a how to for it, just doesn't drive like factory, it will have a lil bump steer and the steering is much more sensitive, but with the price of spindles now its $200 for lift spindles or $1000-$1800 or so for a subframe kit..

Look where your front shock is. if you have a coil spring around it you have coil springs. If you dont and its just a shock there, it's a torsion bar setup.

i would do spindles over spacers, the ebay ones are about the same price as spacers and will keep your factory ride, spacers will make it stiff. add a leaf is an extra leaf in the spring pack to give more arch, towing capacity, and lift, or you can run shackles to bring the stock leaf spring down so it rides factory, add a leaf will make the rear stiffer but let you haul more without sagging so much

You could run a 3" spindle or if you want more go for the 5". You could also run a 3" spindle and a small coil spacer. I dont know if they make spacers in different sizes. For the rear you could run a add a leaf or get a Suspension maxx shackle to lift the rear.

yeah im confused if you use the bolt on spcers they dont change your ride at all, speaking from experience.
now ive heard the spacers that you install on your spring its self slighty tighten up your coils when you bolt your shock back together, ex: belltech 1" spacer
