North East Super Meet 5 !!

When:

NESM 5 will be held June 21-23, 2013.
Where:

The meet will be located in the Hershey / Hummelstown, Pennsylvania area.
Hotel Info:

The hotel we will be staying at is the Holiday Inn Express Hummelstown.

Check in time is: 3:00PM
Check out time is: 11:00AM

The hotel offers many amenities; Free breakfast, WiFi, Pool, Ice, Refrigerator and microwave in the room, Fitness center… ect.

The are plenty of restaurants and stores near the hotel, SHEETZ, Bob Evens, Pizza Hut, Metro Bank, Mc Donalds, Papa Johns, Beer store across the street and less than 2 minute drive to a BP gas station, Apple Bee's, Panera Bread, Weis Supermarket and Kmart.

The Hotel is NOW ready for booking! Group Rate is under - "North East Super Meet" - a credit card is required to book the room, but no charges will occur until you check out.

Cost is $167.99 Per night (the 11% hotel tax not included), Rooms blocked under the agreement are vaild through May 21st 2013.

OK update'ish

Dave and I will be going up to PA on Monday to do our site recons of the park and to meet with the hotel sales staff.

So they are saying they can accomadate us with a block of 30 rooms which are doubles( rooms with two queen beds). Right now the rate is $167.99 for the weekend(2 night stay, for Friday and Saturday nights....tax not included)

I will see if I can work a better discount. These rooms should be available for booking come Monday night......the early bird will get the worm.

For what it's worth my girlfriend just called a minute ago, she said that with the special rate It would make it $167.xx plus tax. That is not a mistake, so the almost $400.00 amount is correct according to them, and she also said there are only a few rooms left for the group so I don't know.

The normal rate is $180.xx a night, so they only gave you a $13.00 per night discount.

We are going to plan B lol!!

We had it on speakerphone, and I heard the woman say that If I wanted a room for the group rate I had better reserve it tonight, because there were only a few rooms left for our group rate.

Does anyone realize that this is the same weekend as the GM Nationals at Carlisle? We found a few hotels in Harrisburg that are available, and a few in Mechanicsburg that are reasonable around $80.00 per night. Just sayin??

The GM Nationals are going to make it hard to get a deal, or to find a reasonable room. We will be there regardless, just maybe not in the same city lol!!

Hold on! Web need to figure out what is going on with the room rate. No need to rush to get a room, I'm not sure why the receptionist would tell you there is only a few rooms left we have 30 rooms on hold just for our group. I have taken out the hotel info for now until we get everything straightens out. Either my self of Jeremy will be calling ASAP to get everything fixed.
