I think xxlowradoxx did so, but you could probably remove the old one for better fitment

you can get a roll pan without the indention, steel or urethane. :shrug:

Yeah man, get the grant skin and a grant pan. That's as clean as it gets without doing a combo. Mine would still be like that if it hadn't gotten hit.

I actuall had to cut the entire old skin off with a cutoff wheel in order for the skin to sit flush all the way around...its a pretty simple process heres a link that Bob Grant hooked up in a tech article ..... Grant Fabrication - Tailgate Skin - Body Work - Mini Truckin' Magazine

ahh. def seems like the only way to go to get the proper fitment. doubt i'll ever bother since i use my tailgate too often to deal with having a handle on the inside but who knows.
