No. And I don't think there will be another one anytime soon. The first USA supermeet back in 2012 had 160+ people sign up and only 40+ showed up. The 2014 USA supermeet was even worse. I don't even know if the required 20 people showed up to make it a supermeet.
They were skipping a year between the big one but I'm not sure whats up now.
IMO the location is so far from everyone and it's hard to get people to commit to such a drive.....or to plan for something so big with such a gigantic failure rate. Normal is about 1/3-1/4 that don't show from the list. With USASM it was over 1/2 sadly.
Maybe explore doing a super regional i.e. north, mid Atlantic, and southeast. Or Central, Mid West and Southwest and Northwest, West and Cali. I'd be willing to bet you would have a much better turn out. Just my .02 cents.
the second one failed because of all the whinning from some of the members after the first one, no reason whatsoever, just people who didn't fit around their regular bubble NESM, SESM or such...
It would be nice to have another one, but too many negative nancies around here, off to the prius forum, bye :lmaop:
I'd like to get a central one going. It just covers a lot of area and it's hard for people to get to sometimes.i don't want it to be a no show and waste of time.
Had a great time at the first one ---- couldn't fit the second one into my schedule. Putting the names to a face was the best part. I can now read their posts in their peculiar accents!! I also cemented some relationships that will be ongoing for a long time ---- Nation, or not!
I was at the 2014 meet and had only 11 or 12 trucks show with maybe less than twenty people. so yeah, it was a lot smaller than I thought it was going to be.
