performancelifts.com just emailed me this. anyone who wants the cst for a great price needs to email perfirmance lifts so they can get as many as possible and they hurry the FU** up cause i have been waiting for mine for so long!

Cameron,

We called Brad at CST again today... Apparently the delay is being caused by
the final machine work that is required on the spindle itself. At this time
CST does not have an ETA for the Colorado spindles. There is no actual
production problem as the spindles themselves have been produced. The delay
is because of a backlog of other parts that are ahead of the Colorado
spindle in terms of the production cycle. The Colorado spindle is not the
only CST product that has been on back order for some time now and while
it's still a priority to complete, it's not the "top priority" at this time.

PerformanceLifts.com is working with CST to offer the updated 2004-2010 5"
Lift Cast Spindles as part of a group buy. The price for the pair of
spindles would be $499.00 delivered to USA residents outside of California
and $539.00 for California residents. California shipments are more
expensive as we must collect California sales tax.

The Group Buy deal will only happen if we can get 10 or more orders
together. In this economy money talks, plain and simple. We know that when
PerformanceLifts.com approaches CST with a firm order for 10 CST Colorado 5"
Lift spindles that CST will be much more motivated to finish the machine
work as quickly as possible. If you know of any other Colorado or Canyon
owners looking for this spindle please tell them about the Group Buy deal.
The faster we can sell 10 sets of spindles the faster CST will build them.

I sent an e-mail to performancelifts.com regarding a set and the rear components as well on Thursday and haven't received a response from them yet. Does anyone know how many sets are on order with them and how many more it will take to get the group pricing.

Yes you can. You just need to get the hole's a bit wobbled out to be able to move the damn things a bit more. Then she will line right up.

Good luck with that. I can tell you from first hand experience that it pulls the strut in to the framerail when you try that, but every time I say this someone wants to argue that, all you have to do is just open the holes a bit. Let me know how it goes for you.
