to help understand the size of lift look at my tires, im running 285/70/17s

all it is is 2"tb crank and 3" spindles with a 3" BL, the back has 3" autozone shackles.
i need to get new caps for wheels and more seattle silver so i can finsh my door handles
PS if you were wondering yes the tie rod is flipped and sway bar gone

 

Holy shackles! Those things look like they are a foot long! Sweet ride...like the lift

 

lol its not that they are long, with a 3"BL you show off alot of things but ive painted my frame gloss black so it dont look bad in my opinion

 

nice work! in for further talk. if the 4wd guys can run this your gonna start a movement! LOL

im curious on how much fab work it took. would make a nasty truck with 4 inch suspension and 3 inch spindle lift, 3 inch body, and t-bars up a bit

 

well little insight, fab work was to get spindle spacer to install under LCA, and to make sure turning wasnt fully compromised.

It doesn't look like there would be enough room for an axle shaft to pass through for the non z71 guys. A lower control arm change looks in order. Well done.

 

so did you just grind a lil off to bolt it up or what. how is steering and ride

 

well with a cutting wheel you must take out the bottom portion of LCA. at first i thought about just bolting the BJ it to the bottom of LCA but i wanted to make sure it was solid so kept the spacers in use. at first i drove it outwith the sway bar (now i know why our trucks need one) than i put it back on and the steering feels about the same even with having the tie rod flipped.

 

i actually thought about buying those shackles....do they actually work?

 

the shackles work just fine, at first i thought i would have to make cross braces but they are actually quite beefy, i just need to paint them so they can be as low profile as possible

 

Yea 4wd guys r sol on this unless someone can solve the cv shaft being able to still work issue

 

So, is this a 3" fabtech spindle or a 5" CST spindle?

well i believe the reason its 5" is cuz of the cross member that kit supplies, spindle itself may only be 3". with this springtech spindle lift however i netted a good 4". can anyone believe that?

to everyone remember there are pros and cons with this setup. the only con ive experienced is that ive lost about quarter turn each way

 

3" spindle + TB crank in the front. Spring-over-axle in the back. :naughty:
